The poem came to me while watching CNN about the Jewish massacre this morning.

Does God Cry?

 When God looks down, does He cry?

He is omnipotent so He knows us.

Hate that fills man’s mind.

Lies told and untold.

Cardinal sins committed.

Cultural wars fought.

Those who know Him not.

Those who know Him, still sinning.

Society assaults us daily.

Christians not acting as Christians.

I hold my own guilt and failure.

Why God? Why God?

Of course You are All-knowing.

God please save us from ourselves.

God please save us from ourselves.

I pray.
